Odyssey Fitness Personal Training Staff

 
Ken Wall
NSCA

Ken Wall, Fitness Director and Personal Trainer. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Pennsylvania State University. He holds certifications in both Personal Training and Stretch and Conditioning from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and CPR Certification from the American Heart Association. Ken is also certified with Apex Fitness and for BodyBugg. Ken works with a variety of clients from aged 14 to 78 for sports training, weight loss, and overall health improvement. Ken recognizes that time schedules are tight, and is an expert at designing programs that members can do at home or on the road, as well as when visiting our facility.

John Pohlidal

John is a Penn State graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

As a member of the Penn State Rugby Team, John also spent much of his time training Penn State athletes. While at PSU, John trained the Women's and Men's Track and Field teams, and worked in the Ability Athletics program preparing students for the paralympics in Greece.

John is CPR and Apex Body Bugg certified. In addition to training athletes, business men and women, future brides and groooms, and moms, John is popular with those taking Tuesday's Half Hour of Power on the basketball court.

Amy Scully

Amy is certified as a personal trainer by the International Sport Sciences Association.

Amy is APEX Body Bugg and CPR certified and has helped many members get started on a fitness program to lose weight, gain strength, and stay healthy.

Thursdays at noon you'll find Amy on the basketball court bringing our members through the Half Hour of Power, our popular circuit class.

Introducing New Group Training Program

Beginners Total price per person - $60

Six 30 minute sessions

2 or 3 to group

You’ll learn the best exercise methods to lose weight and get in shape.

Find out how to use the foam rollers, warm up, stretching, and core exercises using stability balls, stretch bands and Free Motion Equipment and more.

     
Intermediate Total price per person - $160

Eight 45 minute sessions with trainer (total 1 hour)

2 or 3 to group

You’ll work on your own for 15 minutes doing warm up and stretching.

Then, your group will spend 45 minutes with the trainer on a program developed to get the results your group is looking for. They’ll use the Free Motion Equipment, stability and Bosu Balls, dumbbells and more.

     
Advanced Total price per person - $200

Eight 45 minute sessions with trainer
(total 1 hour)

2 or 3 to group

Like the Intermediates, you’ll warm up & stretch on your own for 15 minutes.

Then your group will spend 45 minutes with the trainer doing an advanced exercise program using Bosu, medicine, and stability balls, dumbbells, Free Motion Equipment, bands, and more

 

 

The advanced program also includes a food plan for each of you that incorporates your likes & dislikes to ensure you have a plan you can stick with.
