Ryan Savka, Front Desk Manager
Ryan Savka has been Odyssey’s Front Desk manager since March, 2011. Savka, 26, is a 2007 graduate of College Misericordia with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. He was a four a year letter winner on the baseball team, and in his senior year was captain and MVP. Savka is now enrolled at Misericordia obtaining his MBA. He currently resides in Scranton, Pa.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Scheduling is definitely the toughest. I always have to make sure someone is at the front desk — even on holidays.
How did you get into fitness?
I really got into it during college when our coaches gave us lifting programs for baseball.
What do you do to relax?
Watch movies. Some of my favorites are Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Dark Knight and No Country for Old Men

Proudest Career Moment?
I’m actually very excited to be back at Odyssey Fitness after a three year leave. I used to work the front desk and a few other jobs here, so to come back is very exciting.
