Part-Time Fitness Sales Consultant

Odyssey Fitness is seeking a Fitness Sales Consultant who is responsible for producing consistent monthly sales by enrolling prospective members in the club utilizing the Odyssey Fitness-Selling process. The Fitness Sales Consultant participates actively in the member retention process by providing an enthusiastic level of service to all existing members and supports the Club, programs, staff and members.

Required Skills

Odyssey Fitness requires a passionate, positive, focused and driven Fitness Sales Consultant.

Candidates must have:
- B.A. or B.S. in recreation, fitness, business management or related field preferred.
- Two years experience sales or management preferred.
- Knowledge of the membership sales process, cross-selling and up-selling to members. Ability to tour and close prospective members.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in Windows format.
- Ability to initiate and create friendly relationships with members, guests and staff.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally to members, guests and staff in person as well as over the phone.
- Ability to create and present powerful presentations to large or small groups.
- Knowledge of Publisher and PowerPoint programs helpful.
- Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to take initiative, ownership and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibit a professional and polite appearance at all times.

Part-Time Birthday Party Staff

Odyssey Fitness is seeking a outgoing and energetic person to help run birthday parties on the weekends. The associate interacts positively and professionally with both children and parents while providing outstanding service during the two hour parties that include games, sports and fun for all ages!  Saturday and Sunday afternoons/evenings.

Required Skills

Odyssey Fitness requires a passionate, positive, focused and driven Birthday Party Attendant.

Candidates must have:
- H.S. Diploma or GED preferred or be minimum of 16 years of age and a current H.S. student in good standing with proper work permit documents.
- Six (6) months experience babysitting.
- CPR required.
- Must pass background check by state and federal authorities.
- Knowledge of basic babysitting practices and techniques.
- Ability to create a fun, interactive and secure environment for children.
- Ability to communicate effectively nonverbally; providing appropriate eye contact, smiles and body language, and verbally when giving and taking information over the phone and in person to both children AND parents.
- Ability to courteously and firmly interact with children AND parents to maintain safety and health standards.
- Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibit a professional and polite appearance and demeanor.

Front Desk

Odyssey Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Attendant who is responsible for providing exceptional service to all customers; members, guests and staff, whether by phone or in person and upholding the club’s operating standards in a professional manner at all times.

Must have availability for 5:30am shifts during the weekdays and Friday evenings till 10pm!
Odyssey Fitness requires a passionate, positive, focused and driven Front Desk Attendant.

Candidates must have:
- H.S. diploma, GED minimum. Current H.S. students in good standing meeting work permit requirements accepted.
- Six (6) months experience in health club, customer service or retail setting.
- CPR and First Aid-helpful but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally; providing appropriate eye contact, smiles and body language, and verbally when giving and taking information over the phone and in person.
- Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibit a professional and polite appearance and demeanor.
